A Patrulha Maria da Penha, é um dos programas ligados a Segurança Pública, que tem feito a diferença em nossa região, atendendo mulheres vítimas de agressão na área do 14° BPM.O 14º Batalhão da Polícia Militar (BPM), conta com equipes exclusivas ao atendimento de ocorrências relacionadas à violência doméstica e enquadramentos na Lei Maria, desde sua criação foram diversos atendimentos destinados as mulheres vítimas desses casos.As equipes atuam na fiscalização e suporte a medida protetiva as mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica.Como funciona a Patrulha Maria da Penha:O projeto “Patrulha Maria da Penha – Guardiões da Vida” foi lançado em todo estado no dia 5 de agosto do ano passado, no Rio de Janeiro, pelo então Governador Wilson Witzel e pela Secretaria de Estado de Polícia Militar do Rio de Janeiro, em parceria com o Tribunal de Justiça do Rio.A medida foi inspirada na experiência bem-sucedida de projetos desenvolvidos em algumas áreas do estado, o programa foi criado para prevenir casos de violência doméstica em todo o território estadual.A equipe é destinada a fazer os atendimentos aos casos de violência doméstica. Segundo a PM, a viatura atua nas medidas protetivas, acompanhando a mulher e/ou familiares que sofreram ameaça.“O que a Patrulha faz é visitação na casa da vítima para saber se o suspeito está procurando. Fica acompanhando a mulher, faz visitas periódicas e o homem também é informado que a viatura está fazendo essas visitas, para ele saber se a viatura pegá-lo no local que não deveria estar, ele vai preso na hora. Essa visitação é mais acompanhamento mesmo, se a mulher está sofrendo algum tipo de ameaça, se o cara tem rondado e tem procurado”.As vítimas de violência doméstica podem acionar a PM através do 190
